The United States has offered to assist Fiji return quickly to democratic rule. East Asia Pacific Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary Glyn Davies explained this to Fiji's interim Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama who addressed the United Nations General Assembly in New York last week.
