Coup, riots didn't stop God's work (Honolulu Advertiser)

On May 19, 2000, when I was serving as mission president of the Fiji Suva mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Fiji experienced a political coup. The parliament building in Suva was stormed and the prime minister and several cabinet members were taken hostage. Rioting and looting ensued downtown and buildings were burned down.

Let's Do it God's Way!

The cross is a symbol of pain & suffering. Our nation is suffering and in pain right now ... , then we need to be following all the commands of Christ, not just some. I do not agree with the COUP ... of sin. Forgiveness does the same. Fiji needs to go back to the true menaing of the cross of Christ
